1. How do I access a tender?

 
There are a number of steps you need to go through in order to access a tender.
1. Register on GoTenders. You do this by clicking on the "sign up" link at the top of any page
2. Log On to GoTenders using the Username, Password and Shortname that you entered when registering.
3. Click on the "Register" link that is next to the tender. You will be asked to confirm some of your details at this point. Check that the details are correct and click the "Confirm" button.
4. You can then view the details of the tender. If you are required to pay for documents, click the "CLICK HERE TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD" link at the bottom of the page to process your payment.
5. You can then view the attached documents

2. Do I have to pay for all the documents?
  It depends on the Tenderer. If you are required to pay for the documents there will be a "Fee Required" amount displayed once you register for a tender.

There will also be a "CLICK HERE TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD" link at the bottom of the tender. Once you have paid for the documents it will show a Fee Status of "PAID". Just under this will be another link showing "Click here to print a Tax Invoice".

3. How do I get a tax invoice?
  Once you have paid for a tender there will be a new link towards the bottom of the tender (above the documents) showing: "Click here to print a Tax Invoice". This will be available to you even after the Tender has closed by clicking on the "registrations" link towards the top of the page, and then "View" next to the relevant tender.

4. I am having problems registering, what do I do?
 
Keep in mind that you should be able to log on as soon as your register, regardless of whether you receive the confirmation email or not. If you have registered and still cannot log on using the details that you have supplied when registering then:
1. Check that you have cookies turned on
You can check this in Internet Explorer by clicking on "Tools" in the Internet Explorer toolbar, then "Internet Options". Click on "Privacy" and ensure that the slider is set to "Medium" or lower.
2. Check that the time and timezone information on your computer is correct
This can be checked by right-clicking on the time in the Windows Start bar in the bottom right of the screen and selecting "Adjust Date/Time". Check that the date and time are correct. Click on the "Time Zone" tab and make sure that the zone is set correctly in the drop-down list (it should be +9:30 for Adelaide or +10:00 for the Eastern States), and that the tick is in the "Automatically adjust time for daylight savings changes" box.

5. How do I get notified when a Tender is released?
  This is done via Categories. Once you have registered on GoTenders, you click on the "profile" link towards the top of the page, and your details are shown. Under the orange bar that says ">> Assigned Categories" are the categories that you are currently registered under. Simply choose other categories from the drop-down list and click the "Add" button. You can register in as many categories as you like, and you can remove them by click the "Remove" link next to each selected category.
When a tender is released in one of your selected categories, you will be sent an email to alert you.
